The weather cooperated for last night’s activities, and we enjoyed both outdoor picnic supper and our council fire. Dinnertime consisted of spending time eating tacos with friends out on the gamefield. Later, the boys and the girls walked over by camp and then sat with their new clans. After hearing about the history of the Crystal Lake clans and the traditions involved with Council Fire, each clan created a clan cheer. The CITs ran most of the events for the evening, including the fire-lighting dance, several games, and the belt dance. After a long and eventful day, the campers headed off for another night’s sleep. As for today, we’re enjoying another morning of classes and are looking forward to cookouts tonight!
