Yesterday’s International Day ended with the International Night evening activity, which consists of presentations by CLC campers and staff about the countries where they were born or where their parents were born. Countries in this year’s presentation included Great Britain, Latvia, Russia, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, China, and Kenya. Although no campers from this summer are actually from Kenya, counselor Virginia Early spent several weeks there before camp teaching at the Petals of Africa and Sunrise of Africa Christian Science schools near Nairobi. Dinner was, of course, of international flavor, consisting of Israeli, Greek, and British foods.
This morning marked the end of the one-week option for session three. Several of our campers packed up and headed home after lots of hugs and good-byes. We’ll miss them as we head out for our overnights tomorrow!

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for these blogs. They satisfy the parents craving to know what their kid is doing each day.
Look forward to hearing about this past weekend!
