1st full day of 2nd Session…

Hey everyone!  We got power back in the wee hours of the morning today, and water a few hours later.  We’ve officially moved into 2nd Session, with a whopping 68 campers (what a distinct change from last session where we had fewer than 30 campers…and a much quieter dining hall 🙂 ).  We were super sad to say goodbye to some of the 1st Session campers on Friday, but thrilled to welcome new ones yesterday.

We are excited to announce that some of the new campers and staff members hail from Latvia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Russia, Guatemala, and Argentina!  The CIT’s arrived this past Friday and are settled into their cabins – what a wonderfully positive and helpful group they are; we certainly are grateful for their eagerness and the Love, Principle and calm leadership they have already demonstrated in their cabins.

Campers are currently engaged in a rousing game of Capture the Flag (battled out Turkeys and Wolves vs. Bears and Turtles) and will soon get the chance to cool off with a free swim in the lake.  Tonight is Council Fire and tomorrow we have church and Sunday School, as well as our first day of afternoon classes and Barn Dance in the evening.

It’s going to be a wonderful 2nd Session and we can’t wait to tell you all about the amazing things happening here!  Please stay tuned…

Oh!  And if you’d like to see photos from 1st Session and haven’t yet found your way to the SmugMug album, here’s the link:
