The excitement started a little later than usual, this morning, with a special 4th of July sleep-in! Cabins awoke to music outside, setting the tone for a day of fun and silliness. This morning will be a “Fun Run” where campers can choose a distance of 1, 3, or 5 miles to take at their own pace. Silly costumes are encouraged and there are plenty of fun games and carnival-style activities simultaneously occurring on the waterfront. It’s a great way to spend the last day of camp all together. It has truly been a remarkable session and the testimony meetings last night really reflected all the amazing things that have happened here over these two weeks. Everyone will miss each other dearly, but the great thing is that the extended family that each person has found here is something that stretches all over the world. Happy 4th!
