Look at snowy Crystal Lake.

Pass over the water running out and into a stream headed for Wild Rice Lake.

Head out towards the teepees, down the trail.

Look up at the snow covered branches.

The council fire. We all hold hands at the end of each summer, and Alumni Reunion, to sing “Symbol of Serenity”, reflecting on all the good we’ve experienced here.

Here we sit, to watch the games, hear the Native American folklore, to cheer for clans, chant our clan cheers, and to join in singing and sharing gratitude.

Glance over and see Laughlin Lodge, in a beautiful haze of snow.

Back down the trail, skies opening, sure to be a clear sunset.

Thinking of past camp memories while walking the trail back. Observing the light, wondering, imagining what all surrounds you in just this view of the forest.

Sun peaking, shining through. Sure to brighten your walk.

Taking one more look back. A pristine and white snow covered trail.

A view of Alford Hall, sun peeking behind the trees.

Coming out towards the game field to watch the sunset.

The Outdoor Stage with its new doors and the sunset flying over the ridge.

The vivid color and light gathering in the west of the sky.

Alford Hall framed by a gorgeous sunset.

Lighter, fiery, glowing colors embracing and spanning the sky.

Light practically all gone, a Christmasy touch. A gentle reflection of light outside, a lively, warming light full of friends and joy awaiting inside.
