The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Ps 37:23
Join us in appreciating Nathan Bowen’s 10 year anniversary with Crystal Lake Camps! CLC has been blessed in so many ways by Nabo’s tireless work for camp. As a friend of CLC said, “I have great respect for Nathan and his work for CLC. He gets camp, but more than that, he is all about the ministry of camp.”
That ministry of camp is evident in how Nathan continually helps campers, staff, Board members, and friends of CLC look for the spiritual meaning behind what camp is about. He cherishes the mission of CLC with the expectancy that everyone who comes to camp will have the opportunity to grow in their understanding of Christian Science — whether it happens while rock climbing, swimming in the lake, on the ropes course, on an overnight camping trip, or all of the above! And that spiritual understanding will bring healing to communities worldwide.
We have seen countless ways that Nathan has shared this love of Christian Science with CLC. From leading council fires to participating in daily assemblies, Nathan has worked to cherish the legacy of CLC that was established by the Alford family, and to keep CLC moving forward for generations to come.
From as far away as St. Petersburg, Russia to Seattle, Washington to Washington, DC, Nathan has shared his love of camp with families and friends. Let’s all thank him for his love and dedication to Christian Science and to CLC! Here’s to many more years of his love for camp!
