Session 1, 2018

Week 1 of CLC’s 70th summer is coming to a close. We’ve had an amazing start of Session 1 with classes such as cooking, horseback riding, dance, boating, archery, school of rock, and STAR! Our evening programs were full of energy and excitement. The Barn Dance was a blast; we played mouse-trap, musical chairs, and even learned a line dance! During Vespers, an evening program where we read the Sermon on the Mount, we closed with a singspiration of the new grey hymnal supplement: a hymn sing to help us learn the hymns.

The 6 LT’s and their Director’s left at the beginning of the week for their hiking trip on the Loyalsock Trail. They hiked from camp to Haystacks, spanning 41.47 miles.

Our non-LT campers went out on cabin overnights, switching between Project Cabin and Whipple Mill.

We are now awaiting the arrival of our Session 1B campers AND the First Session Family Camp campers!
