Birding at Crystal Lake Camps
Are you an avid birder? Or someone keen to explore what birding is all about?
CLC is a beautiful spot to hear birdsongs, bird calls, and see a wide variety of bird species! Springtime brings a Great Blue Heron, Osprey, Eagles, Canada Geese, Warblers, Gold Finches, Phoebes, Robins, Whippoorwills, and more!
Tips and Tricks:
Go slowly! Take an early morning bird walk, and stop in one place for several minutes. Try and listen to specific bird songs or calls, and try to identify them. Getting attuned to a bird's call and song can help you identify them!
